The branch of processing aerial and satellite photographs, is one of the peak's objects of our office.

The stereoscopic observation of aerial photographs (at least a pair) of a year, with the help of owned equipment, it can lead to:

--- simple interpretation of aerial photography {for example visible structures (buildings, trails, roads, stone walls, limits, scales, boundaries of properties, configurations relief), crops, trees, planting, land's clearances, land form, etc.}

--- Export measurement data (dimensions of length, width, height) for the visible elements (eg path width, size of buildings, lengths of walls or stone walls, height differences of stone walls, etc.)

--- production of topographic charts from the measuring data and digital terrain model (dtm).

--- by comparing aerial photographs of different years shows results of diachronic development of visible elements.

The stereoscopic observation of satellite photographs offers just the same as the equivalent observation of aerial photographs, but to works of different scale.

The results of the processing of aerial photographs are used, inter alia, in judicial matters (removal of disputes, contested ownership), in forest inspection (classification or declassification of land, for its forest or non-status) in urban planning department (year of buildings, their dimensions) in Hellenic Public Real Estate Corporation (foreshore erosion, year of construction projects).

Our firm has the knowledge, experience and equipment (owned photogrammetric workstation of ERDAS) to undertake any work related to results from treatment of aerial photographs.
